Affordable Housing Complex

State Street Commons starts with the foundation of a strong built community where residents will feel rooted and safe. Combining housing, commercial and community spaces, State Street Commons is the ideal destination for any age. Connecting with the outside community through a passageway allows for the convenient accessibility to the streets and adjacent bike paths. What makes State Street Commons so unique is its architecture combined with a contemporary flare and sustainable design. The variety of different apartments overlooking the courtyard with private patios and balconies also adds a special touch to the design. State Street Commons will be a community hot spot where families and friends will want to gather and enjoy the day.
As you walk into Landor you are engrossed with the atmosphere around you. With half walls on both the north and south side of the room, light is pouring in and reflecting off the floors. The reflection plays a large part in the design that comes from the concept model. The mezzanine is also a strong element to the design. It resembles the city of Chicago because of its bridges and unique artwork spread throughout the city. * Rendering completed with Revit.
The first step in designing a three dimensional concept for Landor, Chicago was inspired by a two-dimensional abstract image. The next step was to analyze and pull elements and principles of design from the image such as color, line, and shape. These elements were then used to create a new composition through diagraming and overlays.
This image of the mezzanine helps give you a better understanding of the relationship between the entrance and above. * Rendering completed with Revit.

Landor - Corperate Office
This school project of the Landor graphic design office located in Chicago was an in depth design focusing on the company, city, indoor air quality, and sustainability. The design concept of the Landor office will inspire all those who enter the space. With the division of space, pulsating pops of color, and movement inhabiting each workspace in a unique way, the design will provide a bridge to all the users, while allowing for a motivating and collaborative work environment. Landor will be a successful work environment where community and partnership will allow for the best production of products for their clients.
Public Library

Located in Aix-en Provence, France my group member and I worked together and did extensive research on the culture and environment surrounding the Library site. We used the site to our full advantage because it has so much to offer such as cafes, adjacencies to public transportation and it’s located off the main street of Aix. We used the library community center to set new standards for green design while blending in with the Aix’s atmosphere. The library will become a place that reflects the community’s interests as a whole.

Bar and Grill - Restaurant

Located near residential homes in West Haven CT, this small family run restaurant business needed a remodel and expansion to accommodate the community. The design was to provide a space where friends and family can gather close to home with a warm and exciting environment.
